Two in Murrieta Arrested for Drug Possession

A standard probation check has landed two people in jail when it was found they were manufacturing hash in a Murrieta home. They have been booked on drug possession and felony weapons charges.

On Friday, July 5, 2013, officers arrived at the home in question and caught one of the suspects attempting to escape from a second story window. A house search revealed two guns and high capacity handgun magazines, as well as marijuana plants, components of the hash lab, and packaging items allegedly for selling drugs. A second suspect was arrested at the scene.

According to the police press release, the two offenders were booked into the Southwest Detention Center. As they await formal charges and the progression of their case through the legal system, they may feel that they are facing the unknown without much assistance.

However, there are legal firms that specialize in representing people charged with illegal weapons, drug possession, manufacturing and similar crimes. With professional legal assistance, anyone charged with a misdemeanor or felony drug crime can confidently face the process knowing that they do not stand alone. Defense attorneys can carefully review everything that happened and often find places where California or local police have acted improperly, or evidence has been obtained illegally. In this case, it is also entirely possible that the guns and ammunition were in the lawful possession of the people who were arrested.
