DA’s Office Ordered to Return $360,000 in Asset Forfeiture Case
Our clients faced asset forfeiture after authorities seized $360,000 linked to the sale of stolen goods. While they admitted the money came from stolen items, the DA’s Office attempted to keep the full amount. However, with collaboration between our clients and the victims, we successfully argued that the funds should be returned to their rightful owners. The judge ruled in our favor, ordering a portion of the money to be given back to the victims instead of remaining with law enforcement.
