The Challenge
An off-duty police Captain (GS-12), responsible for supervising approximately 300 Civilian and Military Police Officers, was investigated for pointing a loaded firearm at an individual and threatening to shoot. The incident occurred while the Captain was allegedly intoxicated, and the situation posed significant potential legal and career consequences.
Our Strategy

Through negotiation with the prosecution, we resolved the case as a misdemeanor “disturbance of the peace”, avoiding more severe criminal charges and preserving our client’s professional standing.
