Our client, a security guard at an apartment complex, was falsely accused of sexually assaulting a teenager in a stairwell. Investigation revealed the allegation was retaliatory; it was made only after the client discovered the teenager and her boyfriend engaged in misconduct and informed them he was reporting the incident to their parents.
Our Strategy
We conducted a thorough independent investigation and uncovered evidence demonstrating that the allegation was fabricated by the teenagers in an attempt to avoid getting into trouble with their parents. At trial, we systematically dismantled the prosecution’s case through cross-examination and presentation of exculpatory evidence.
