Murder Suspected In Death of San Bernardino Man | Temecula, Murrieta, Hemet Criminal Defense Law Firm

Authorities suspect foul play in the death of a San Bernardino man.

According to the Press Enterprise, a 61-year-old man was reported missing on Wednesday, March 12. He was found dead a short time later.

When authorities investigated this man's disappearance and death, they found his vehicle and "other evidence" that led them to believe that his death was not natural.

On Thursday, March 13, a 34-year-old Highland man was arrested and was booked into jail on suspicion of murder.

If this recap of the search for the missing 61-year-old man and the 34-year-old man's arrest seems rather brief to you, that is because authorities have not said much about it. We understand the need to keep your cards close to your vest, so to speak, but a lack of information does raise a legitimate amount of concern that the suspect's rights may not being properly observed.

The fact is, people who are arrested and accused of crimes do have constitutional rights, and police and prosecutors have to respect that. Sometimes, suspects need the assistance of a criminal defense attorney to make sure this happens.
